Official eSC! Spring Showdown ruleset - Counter-Strike 2 Chapter I - Entry and Roster -A team cosists of 5 members and an optional reserve. The reserve has free entry but will not be eligible for a prize. -All team members must be students at USAMV Cluj-Napoca and must be present with their student cards/licenses on the first day; After this, each player will receive a Tyvek wristband which must stay on until the end of the copmetition; If a player refuses to show their student card/license or is not a student at USAMV CN, the team will be eliminated. -The entry fee is 125 RON per team and must be paid by the captain until the 10th of April. Otherwise, the entry will be invalidated. Capitolul II - Player equipment -The players will bring their own laptop/PC as well as all needed peripherals (monitor, keyboard, mouse, headphones, etc); -Headphones are mandatory; -Open-back headphones are forbidden -Using mobile phones during the match is forbidden; -You are not allowed to connect to any wireless network except the one provided by the organisers; -Any other auxiliary/USB devices apart from the peripherals are forbidden. Capitolul III - Game rules, Cheating and Conduct -BO3, elims; -Comms will be on the in-game voicechat; -In-game text/voice chat can be used without any restrictions; -Outside the game any aggressive behaviour (cursing, insults, etc) will be penalised; -Any in-game cheating results in team elimination; -You are not allowed to look at the game projection. Any peek will lead to penalties or elimination; -The teams must be present 15 minutes prior to game start. Should a team be 5 to 10 minutes late, they will lose a map and more than 10 minutes late leads to elimination; -Maps will be chosen by team captains using the Pick&Ban system 10 minutes prior to game start. If a captain is missing, the other team will choose all maps; -Teams have a right to 3 30 second timeouts per map; -The game will pe halted/postponed if any tech issues arise; depending on their severity; -If the server crashes the game will be restarted from the last backup; -You are not allowed to have any other programs running in the background; -Alchool consumption on tournament grounds is forbidden. Capitolul IV - Infrastructure -Teams will pay for any damage to the provided infrastructure and will be eliminated. Notes: -During the matches you will be watched by a ref; -Any complaints during the matches will be conveyed to the ref; -By paying for entry you confirm having read this ruleset and agreed with it; -Second place gets their entry fee reinbursed; -First place receives prizes as well as free entry for the next edition.
